Meet the Founder

Director Gary McCaskill founded GMC Builders Kent Ltd to bring over 30 years of construction expertise and a personal, client-focused approach to homeowners and businesses across Kent.

Starting his career as a carpenter, Gary built a strong foundation in quality craftsmanship before progressing into site management and senior leadership roles with respected contractors including ISG Construction, Mowlem/Carillion, Jenner Contractors, DJ Ellis, and Geoffrey Osborne.

Today, Gary is actively involved in every project, providing practical guidance, maintaining clear communication, and ensuring every stage is delivered with care, precision, and attention to detail. His hands-on approach means clients benefit from experienced oversight, reliable project management, and workmanship of the highest standard.

Away from work, Gary enjoys sailing, cycling, trail riding, and exploring new cultures. He brings the same dedication, attention to detail, and genuine passion for quality to every project, building lasting relationships founded on honesty, reliability, and trust.
